What is Wing Chun Kung Fu?
Wing Chun, Chinese character 詠春; Pinyin: Yǒng Chūn, sometime romanized as Wing Tsun or Ving Tsun, is highly effective and concept-based southern style Chinese martial arts system specializing in close-range fighting.
It is characterized by small body movements, the center line concept, using deflection to neutralize attacks rather than relying on size & physique; tight defense and offence which are employed simultaneously; techniques which flow rapidly like bullets from a machine gun; explosive power generated in a very short distance, like the releasing of a compressed coiled spring; hand and foot working in unison; narrow stance and agile footwork, low kicks that rarely go above the waist which is often felt and not seen ..... these are the signature of the Wing Chun system!!
